Just like that Halloween is over and we’re barreling full speed into the winter holidays. Which means it is time to start shopping for gifts.
What’s on your list? Gift cards? Specific books?
I wonder what the hot gifts of the season will be? Tech gadgets? Toys? Comfort items- remember the Snuggie? I recently found two in my linen closet that I forgot we had.
I plan to give handmade and heartfelt gifts this year. For the heartfelt not so much “things” but experiences - movie tickets, concert tickets, restaurant gift cards. I want the kids (who are not really kids any more but a teen and two adults) to go out and do things. Experience the world. Fun and memories are better than useless junk that piles up.
Books though…those are never useless-vacation between the pages, visit new worlds, experience things never thought possible all inside a book.
I see a few on this list I’d like to receive as a gift.
